Furnace Mountain Alpacas
Rose's Chloe
Background:
Chloe is a beautiful light fawn with incredibly long staple length. Chloe is the daughter of Jezebel,
a true black dam and Knight of Camelot, a true black sire who won 2nd in his large class at the Eastern
Alpaca Jubilee and Best Fleece overall at the ABC show. Jezebel has also won many 1st place ribbons
and 1 best fleece overall for her 2 year old fleece. Both parents have beautiful color and fineness.
Chloe's first cria, FMA Morgan, is a spectacular girl, with soft bundles of curls throughout - she
should be a huge winner in the show ring this Fall. Chloe is a fine attentive mom with ample milk.
Chloe is currently bred to Heronwood's Monarch. Monarch is a exceptional macho male out of "the sire
of champions" Rensselaer. He is the darkest color Rensselaer has sired yet, and is a "spitting
image" of his father. Monarch has the finest fleece at Heronwood Farm, and that is saying
something! At his first show at barely six months of age Monarch took the Reserve Champion for
fawn males. At the next show the judge said that "she nearly fainted when she opened his
fleece". Monarch has earned 4 first place ribbons, a reserve championship, and a Championship
at 4 years of age.
